Mentoring and Individual Writing Coaching
Peter De Vries said, "I love being a writer. What I can't stand is the paperwork."

Indeed, for as much as our souls light up with a love for the written word, the writing of a book or long project can be an arduous journey to take alone. Women especially need a companion on the journey, someone who has taken on the writing process, and survived.

A writing mentor is like a trusted guide. To earn this trust, I will affirm your strengths and challenge you to develop and explore your weaknesses. I will ask you to sharpen your sword, as it were, by developing your writing skills. I will listen actively and support you compassionately, and I will shape our conversations and reflections to your learning style so we can move toward the realization of your writing goals. Goals can include designing a home-study program of assignments, writing, and feedback to jump start your writing; specific instruction on elements of craft; assignments that will help you face your fears about writing and publishing.
